We received word from Michigan Aeronautical Science Association (MASA) – a.k.a. the University of Michigan rocket team – that their first verticalized waterflow test with the flight tanks welded by United Technical was successful this weekend.
United Technical is a proud, long-term 'Thermosphere' level sponsor of the dedicated students of the MASA team, alongside companies like Boeing and Siemens. We have provided hundreds of hours of welding support and thousands of dollars in materials and consumables over the course of our support of the team's efforts.
